This resource was produced to accompany an event held at Cafe Gallery in Southwark Park on 21 April 2011, to disseminate learning from 12 Arts Council-funded projects with older people and families and to share experiences of pracititioners working in these fields. This event was supported by Arts Council England.

This document is a record of the discussion held between over 40 delegates at the close of the event. Some key themes and issues in the discussion include:

  • The role of the process – outcomes and outputs
  • Measuring impact – the role of evaluation and monitoring
  • The concept of risk
  • Legacy – how is this work sustainable?
  • Where next? Leading the debate

Download the document below, or read more about the twelve featured projects by downloading the book we made for the event here.
