Introduction to Project Evaluation
Take the stress out of evaluation and learn how it can help you tell the story of your project for the benefit of participants and stakeholders.
Evaluation is a powerful tool both to support your ongoing work and as evidence for making the case for future projects or funding. But is the effort you put into it delivering the results you need?
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Assess your own project evaluation objectives and the benefits they will bring
- Create your own evaluation plan
- Identify the most appropriate methodologies and ways of collecting the evidence
- Tailor your findings to present to different audiences, particularly to funders
- Enjoy the evaluation process and take pleasure in reflecting on and demonstrating the value of your work!
Facilitators: Lillian Ashford, Fundraiser at The Prince's Foundation
Lillian will be joining us to talk about how she uses evaluation in her role to raise the profile of her organisation, raise funds and attract supporters.
Helen Ball, Head of Engagement Services, Audiences London
Helen will also be sharing insights about the evaluation work she’s been involved in during the last 12 months, sharing learning from a range of projects including large scale outdoor arts festivals, pop-up events and participatory projects working with small groups of elders and young people.
This session is useful if you are new to project evaluation or looking for a reminder in the context of a community engagement or participation project which you are running.
