26 January 2012 New toolkit for audience research at outdoor events and festivals

We are delighted to be able to share our new toolkit of advice, templates and resources for researching audiences at outdoor events and festivals, which we launched at our recent symposium for the outdoor arts sector. 

13 January 2012 NCA UK Arts Index now available to all

We helped the National Campaign for the Arts produce their inaugural UK Arts Index, which was presented in parliament in December 2011 and is now freely available online.

 

9 December 2011 Creation of new national audience development agency confirmed for 2012

 Plans to create a single national organisation for audience development benefiting cultural organisations across England advanced this week, as the boards of the key agencies (All About Audiences, Audiences London and Audiences South West) have agreed plans to merge into a single national agency.

Audiences for orchestral music are more loyal to the artform, are likely to attend more frequently and to book earlier than audiences for other performing arts, according to a research project carried out by Audiences London(1) for a consortium of twelve orchestras and orchestral venues(2) in London.
