Outer London Venues Audience Development
Audiences London was commissioned by ACE London to support performing arts venues in outer London develop their audience focus over a 10-month programme. The objective was to build on existing knowledge and infrastructure so as to maximise venues? effectiveness at engaging audiences.
Participating organisations in the project were Artsdepot, The Broadway, Barking, Jackson’s Lane, Orange Tree Theatre, Redbridge Drama Centre, Rose Theatre Kingston, Watermans, Millfield Arts Centre and Harrow Arts Centre.
As part of this project Audiences London analysed audience data from the participating organisations, in the context of Snapshot London, and developed benchmarks for audiences for outer London venues using this data and results from an online audience survey.
